Marvaco's EGP™ is a way to increase sustainability in packaging printing
The Expanded Gamut Printing is continuously adopted by new printing houses. It's becoming increasingly popular in paper printing. Even traditionally challenging materials, like uncoated Kraft paper with WB, are suitable for EGP. Marvaco has been pioneering this technology together with SOMA and the new flexo press are designed to be fit for EGP.
The sustainability benefits in moving from traditional spot color printing to Marvaco EGP™ technology are normally about 25% more efficient job changes without process washes and 20% less environmental load of inks in printing process.
